Fort Worth's Bice's Florist Observes Good Neighbor Day With Free Roses Wednesday, Sept. 5

Hurst, TX (PRWEB) September 6, 2007 -- Bice's Florist will repeat its highly popular rose give-away in celebration of Good Neighbor Day Wednesday, September 5, at its two Fort Worth-area locations.

The observance marks the 13th year for the national observance, sponsored by FTD Florists to encourage neighbors to help create a friendlier, more caring and compassionate world through the gift of flowers.

At Bice's Florist locations at 650 Bedford Euless Road and 3811 Colleyville Blvd., visitors will receive a dozen roses free of charge, while supplies last. Bice's has 5,000 roses on hand strictly for this give-away event.

But there is a catch: in the spirit of the occasion, each recipient is asked to keep one rose and give away the others to neighbors, friends or complete strangers.

Bice's Florist owners David McLamb and Keith Riewe say Good Neighbor Day is always a popular event for Bice's. "Everyone likes pleasant surprises, and what's better than receiving a beautiful rose, completely unexpected?" Riewe said.

"We love doing this for the Tarrant County community," McLamb added. "It helps people think of flowers, which we certainly like, but more importantly it helps people think of each other."
